The complex nature and high-availability requirements of Cerego’s application necessitated some unique solutions to ensure fail-safe deployment and a performant codebase, while still balancing maintainability and poverty of unnecessary code. Numerous customizations and tweaks to Rails internals were made, a complete load testing setup was developed, as well as an intricate Capistrano deployment process.
