Migration from Microsoft .NET to Ruby on Rails

Cerego’s original application was a behemonth legacy monolith written in Visual Basic.NET and SQL Server stored procedures, which had become impossible to maintain, revise, and upgrade. Sakuzaku’s first order of business was to perform a feature-complete provisional rewrite of the entire application, moving it to Ruby on Rails while working closely with Cerego’s team in Japan.
