An Identity Commensurate with LILT’s Purpose

Creating a versatile identity required balancing a number of varying use requirements. Foremost was the need to make their tools as usable as possible for their users, by combining the very collaborative and learning research the lab is spearheading with the accepted best practices in user-centered design. Also important was the desire to attract decision-makers and grant organizations to their work, and to present deliverables to corporate sponsors of the lab’s work. The final design is the product of multiple human factors and interaction considerations assessed in combination with these goals.
